Barbados

The fifth place in the list is occupied by the island state of Barbados. It has a high standard of living. The economy is based on information services and tourism. Manufacture is represented by sugarcane processing enterprises. Furniture industry is well developed. Hardware is also manufactured there. Country’s oil and natural gas reserves are relatively small. The Netherlands

Israel

Israel is the eighth among the country with expensive fuel. It costs $1.52 per litre. Israel is among the most developed states in Southwest Asia. Its economy is one of the leading in the region. The country imports raw materials, defense products, fuel, grain and consumer goods.

Greece

The ninth place goes to Greece. The country's economy is not always stable and is crisis-prone. The GlobalPetrolPrices experts note that the price of gasoline on remote islands and in mountain villages is different from the mainland and metropolitan one. Sometimes the cost difference reaches 20%. Presently, a litre of petrol costs $1.52.

Italy

Italy rounds out the top 10. The cost of petrol is $1.55 per litre. The country lacks energy and water resources. There are no deposits of oil and gas, or nuclear power plants. At the same time, it has a developed network of railways and motorways. Over 90% of passengers and more than 80% of goods in Italy are transported by road.
