According to a statement of Armenia's authorities, Azerbaijani troops started a military campaign to capture Nagorno-Karabakh, which is an Armenian separatist enclave in Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan and Armenia have been fighting for quite a long time over this territory. In 1994, Nagorno-Karabakh was recognized as a third party and a cease-fire was reached.
