370Zki is the successor of Nissan’s 370Z Roadster. This unique vehicle is designed for driving on snow-covered mountain slopes. The off-road car is equipped with skis instead of the front wheels, and tracks instead of the back ones. Developing the 370Zki concept, Nissan experts redesigned the suspension, enlarged the wheel arches, and raised the body. The new Nissan 370Zki roadster is powered by a special V6 engine. The innovative vehicle will allow skiers to reach difficult peaks as well as rescue teams to move in the mountain areas.
Volkswagen ID Buggy
ID Buggy is a new electric car from Volkswagen. Experts suggest that the vehicle will become an invaluable companion for surfers. Thanks to ID Buggy, they will be able to reach the most remote beaches. This all-terrain electric vehicle has a unique suspension. Its light alloy wheels are fitted with BF Goodrich off-road tires. Its design is reminiscent of classic 1960s beach buggies. The new ID Buggy has no doors and a removable tarpaulin instead of a roof. The car is equipped with a powerful electric motor and is capable of speeds up to 159 kilometres per hour. The existing ID Buggy prototype is 70% ready for mass production.
Scuderia amphibious vehicle
This innovative car is designed by Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus (SCG). This small American company specializes in creating ultralight supercars. SCG is now planning to produce SUVs for transcontinental travel. The vehicle will be equipped with a floating platform and two external motors to overcome water spaces. The developers intend to test the amphibious SUV by climbing on it to Nevado Ojos del Salado, the highest active volcano in the world at 6,893 metres. The volcano is located in the Andes.
2sympleks Mountain Rescue Vehicle
Polish developers of innovative cars are also keeping pace with the global trend. Local experts are planning to create a vehicle for emergency purposes. The Polish design studio 2sympleks has developed the Mountain Rescue Vehicle concept car, which is equipped with everything a rescuer needs: an all-wheel control system and a long-travel suspension with differential locks. The SUV has eight seats. The car’s features also include the ability to climb slopes at a 90 degrees angle. According to the developers, this will help rescuers reach inaccessible areas.
Cayman-HF (Hunter-Fisher)
The Belarusian company 140 Repair Plant develops innovative off-road concept cars called Cayman-HF (Hunter-Fisher). This all-terrain vehicle is designed especially for fishermen and hunters. The company's engineers modernized the BRDM-2 military vehicle of 1963, adding several new features. The six-meter car can accommodate six people and is capable of navigating dangerous trails. The four-wheel drive Cayman-HF vehicle is equipped with a powerful diesel engine, a five-speed gearbox, and a night vision system.
