The inauguration of the new US president Donald Trump, held January 20, did not leave anyone indifferent. People divided into two camps by their attitude to the American leader: the supporters and furious opponents of him and his policies. On the weekend the antipathy to the new head of state resulted in protests around the world.

After the Donald Trump's inauguration about a million people came to the streets. They organized protests, strongly demonstrating their opposition to the existing order of things.

According to the US law enforcement, it was the most massive demonstration on the streets of Washington. It was attended by at least 597 thousand people. Also, there were a lot of protesters in Seattle, Boston, New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.

Among other forms of protest were the so-called women's marches, which took place not only in America, but also in Vienna, Paris, London, Berlin and other cities around the world. Participants of the protest stated that they were not interested in politics until recently, but the election campaign, took place in the United States, was characterized, in their opinion, by sexism and racial and religious stereotypes.

The famous people also took part in these meetings. Among the protesters were pop singers and actors, such as Madonna and Scarlett Johansson, as well as politicians.

However, Donald Trump, after taking the office, began to sign government decrees. A few hours after his inauguration he decreed the elimination of health care reform, pursued by Barack Obama.

The program of the new administration of the White House provides the US withdrawal from the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TTP). Washington also will revise the agreement on the North American Free Trade Area. The United States can withdraw from the treaty. The state intends to take all measures against countries that violate international trade agreements.
