The first place goes to works of art. According to experts, they are more expensive than others. This trend was seen in 2017 and remained in the I quarter of 2018.

The average cost of works of art in the auction sale grew by 21%.

The second place in the rating of the most profitable luxury goods is held by wine. And this is even despite the fact that its profitability decreased from 11% in 2017 to 9% in the first quarter of 2018.

Watches took the third place. The price for them increased by 5% over the past year and the beginning of this year. For 10 years they added 69% in price.

According to results of the decade, rare cars were recognized as the most profitable investment (+228%), but now their price is decreasing.

According to the end-decade results, coins price strongly increased: 182% compared to 138% for jewelry.

Coins and watches are equally profitable. Their indicators: + 4% over the past year and early 2018.

Colored diamonds maintain the same growth in value. For 10 years they have risen in price by 77%.

Virtually no change is seen in the price of postage stamps: + 1% over the past year and a half.

The decline in the price of Chinese ceramics stopped. For the beginning of 2018, it fell in price by only 2% (in 2017 - by 5%).

Antique furniture remains the most controversial investment. For ten years it has fallen in price by 32%, for the beginning of this year - by 1%.
