International Peace Memorial Lighthouse, US
The height of Perry's Victory & International Peace Memorial, which also serves as a lighthouse, advances to 107 m. It was built in 1915. There is a monument dedicated to Oliver Perry, a сommander of the North American Navy in 1813, which stands next to the column. The lighthouse symbolizes the friendship between three countries - the US, Canada, and the UK.
Yokohama Marine Tower, Japan
It is a 106-meter high lattice tower with an observation deсk at a height of 100 m. The lighthouse is located in Yokohama. Lights of red and green colors it emitted were used to illuminate the building, but then they were replaced with the white color lights.

The 82.5 m high lighthouse is located on Ile Vierge, a small island which lies 1.5 km from the coast of Brittany. This is the tallest stone lighthouse in Europe and one of the highest in the world. The International Hydrographic Bureau specifies Ile Vierge as marking the south-western limit of the English Channel.
Genoese Lighthouse, Italy
The height of this lighthouse is 77 m. It has a rich history. The original lighthouse was erected in 1128. It was rebuilt in 1543 and had little changed since then. The towers of the monumental structure survived several wars. The Genoese lighthouse is still fully operational.
Lesnoy Mole Rear Range Light, Russia
This 73-meter high lighthouse has an unusual name – Lesnoy Mole Rear Range Light. It is located in St. Petersburg, on the shore of the Gulf of Finland. The lighthouse guides all navigation traffic from the sea channel into one of the bays of the city. What is more, it is made from concrete in the form of a cylinder, slightly tapering upwards. There are three observation rooms at the top of the lighthouse.
Mulantou Lighthouse, China
Also known as the Hainan Head Light, the Mulantou lighthouse is 72.2 m high. It is the tallest lighthouse in China. It has been functioning since 1995. Light from the Mulantou is visible from a distance of 44 km.
Baishamen Lighthouse, China
The lighthouse of a triangular shape and a height of 72 m is located on the island of Haidian, near Beijing. It is one of the largest lighthouses in China. The Baishamen lighthouse was built in 2000 to guide ships into the harbor.
Cordouan Lighthouse, France
This is one of the most unique lighthouses. It is also a historical monument of France and maybe only one lighthouse in Europe where there is still a keeper. Its height totals to 68 m. The observation tower was built in 1584. The Cordouan lighthouse is the oldest one in Europe along with the Genoese Lighthouse.
